Lotions are designed with ingredients that absorb quickly and easily into the skin without leaving an oily residue. The soothing lip balms leave your lips silky smooth without a waxy texture. The products page will describe in greater detail all you might want to know about Oola products.

All products are designed and crafted by Oola Body Care in the Comox Valley, on Vancouver Island, Canada.

Custom orders can be accommodated (see the products page).

Where does the name Oola come from you may ask. There is a little village in county Limerick, Ireland, named Oola and it is a sound that rolls easily and comfortably off the tongue. It is both a comforting and luscious sound that fits perfectly with this company’s vision.

Oola is also a female name.

Guerrilla Marketing vs Hummingbird Marketing

The common term ‘Guerrilla Marketing‘  aims to ‘strike the customer at a more personal and memorable level.’  Oola Body Care uses the term ‘Hummingbird Marketing.’ Hummingbirds move gracefully from flower to flower (akin to the steady approach in expanding the audience for Oola products via word-of-mouth and reputation.) The sounds of hummingbird wing vibrations are instantly recognizable  (as the Oola body care logo/branding is. ) Hummingbirds are small but mighty in their focus  (as in being a small business, which Oola is.)  Yes, it may be a more gentle approach but Oola likes the ‘ooo’ and ‘ahhh’ reaction that comes when people see and use Oola Body Care products. It is very akin to the ‘ooo’ and ‘ahhh’ when a hummingbird displays it’s beauty.

“I am a midwife and grandmother with over forty years of dedicated service to the well being of women and their families. I had the pleasure of working with Oola Body Care owner, Mary Murphy, when she was my apprentice years ago. During that time, she provided nurturing and popular body care products. You have my assurance that you can place your trust in her hands.”      Marina Alzugaray cnm
